About San Diego Academy
San Diego Academy (SDA) is a Christian Seventh-day Adventist K-12 college preparatory school founded in 1899. It has a diverse student population and prepares individuals to become spiritually whole, academically adept, socially skilled, and physically fit. Students at San Diego Academy strive for academic excellence within a caring community of peers and with the support of their faculty and staff. The teachers and administrators seek to support and build up every student, meeting them at their level both spiritually and academically.
Why Attend Here?
San Diego Academy is located in beautiful South San Diego County and offers great weather year-round. More importantly, SDA prepares all of its students for success with rigorous college-focused instruction. Students who attend SDA are equipped with critical thinking skills and an appreciation for music, literature, and new languages. In August 2005, San Diego Academy moved to a brand-new, modern campus. This private, gated campus houses the classrooms, science and computer labs, music department, library, chapel, gymnasium, and cafeteria. The school grounds include a softball and football/soccer field, and hard court surfaces.
